Walk with Bro is a series of formation sessions and conversations with Lasallian Brothers and Partners meant to accompany the alumni in their journey towards renewing their commitment to the Lasallian Mission.

Based on the actual places in France where St. John Baptist de La Salle lived and worked, Walk with Bro is a journey re-telling the story of the great educational movement that De La Salle and his First Brothers began in 1680 to renew the alumni's Lasallian Identity and Spirit.

VAUGIRARD EXPERIENCE

While at Vaugirard in Paris, St. La Salle wrote the Conduct of Schools that changed the landscape of basic education in Europe. In this session, we will hear how the Conduct of Schools is continued in the Philippines and the Asia-Pacific Region.

Parmenie was a place of refuge and retreat for St. La Salle. This talk dwells on the Foundational Principles of Lasallian Formation and the formative process of maturation in strengthening our Lasallian identity.

ST. YON EXPERIENCE

At the house called St. Yon in Rouen, St. La Salle died. This marks the end of the foundational years and the beginning of the expansion of the Lasallian Mission. This session dwells on how the Lasallian Mission transforms individuals and societies where Lasallians are present.

RUE SAINT JEAN BAPTISTE DE LA SALLE EXPERIENCE

In 1951, in honor of the contribution of St. La Salle to the city, a street in the 6th District of Paris was named after him – Rue Saint Jean Baptiste de La Salle. This session discusses how we can continue to walk together with our fellow Lasallians along the road of life that St. La Salle has inspired us to take on.
