for his athleticism as one of Philippine football's best midfielders which led him to capture NCAA championships, thrive in the professional leagues of the 1970s and represent the nation in prestigious international competitions
Delfino has shared his gifts over the years as both an accomplished athlete and Certified Public Accountant. He has been part of the Lasallian community since his elementary years. He attended both La Salle Greenhills and De La Salle University, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce, Accounting. He has garnered numerous accolades and recognitions for his exceptional prowess in football. Some of his awards include Asian International Schools Competition Champion (1974), Philippines Football Best Midfield Player of the Year Award (1978) and NCAA Seniors Champion for DLSU (1973-1976). Delfino has also taken part in international events, such as the China Goodwill Tour in 1976, the Asian Youth Tournament in Kuwait (1975), and the Olympic Elimination in Tokyo (1976). Furthermore, Delfino has over 30 years of experience as an accountant in the U.S and served as President of the Quota International of the Monterey Peninsula, a non-sectarian organization that focuses on the unmet needs of the hearing and speech impaired, underprivileged women, children, and senior citizens.
