The De La Salle Alumni Association ( DLSAA ) is still accepting nominations for the 2011 ONE LA SALLE EXCELLENCE AWARDS, viz. Distinguished Lasallian, Lasallian Achievement, Sports Hall of Fame and Lasallian Sports Achievement awards until 31 December 2010.
The ONE LA SALLE EXCELLENCE AWARDS NIGHT will be one of the Centennial celebration highlights of the DLSAA World Congress and UMAEL Congress which will be held in Manila in October 2011.
Any La Salle alumnus/a can nominate. Nominees may come from any De La Salle Brothers-Philippine District School.

The specific criteria for the awards are the following:
DLSAA DISTINGUISHED LASALLIAN AWARD
- Honors Lasallians who have achieved multiple and earned distinction and unusual positive recognition for their vision, leadership, management and integrity in their chosen fields, professions or public service;
- Who are reputed nationally or internationally;
- Who may serve as professional and personal role models for Lasallian students and other Filipinos, and
- Must have been out of any De La Salle District school at least 20 years.
DLSAA LASALLIAN ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
- Honors alumni who have achieved either industrial, managerial, professional, avocational or public service distinction or series of distinctions.
- This award focuses more on the singular achievements of the awardee in a single area and accordingly, principally focuses on tasks rather on persons.
- This award does not have a minimum 20-year award lapse.
DLSAA SPORTS HALL OF FAME AWARD
- Must have shown outstanding performance as an athlete, coach, trainer, cheerleader, manager in school, local and/or international sports competitions;
- Must have been out of any De La Salle District school at least 20 years;
- Must possess exemplary role model qualities which can be emulated by Lasallians in particular and the Filipino youth in general.
DLSAA SPORTS ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
- Recognizes the athletic achievement or contribution of Lasallian athletes/athletic staff who have not yet exhausted the 20-year prescriptive period.
- This award focuses on a noteworthy school, national or international athletic achievement or series of achievements.

Nominations with supporting documents (curriculum vitae, clippings, testimonials) should be sent to the DLSAA office or the undersigned on or before the aforesaid deadline. The DLSAA reserves the right to reject any or all nominations at its sole discretion.
