Toronto 2010 Golf Tournament

The 8th annual Toronto golf tournament was held last Jun 6 at the Cherry Downs Golf and Country Club in Pickering, 30 minutes east of the city. Beneficiaries of the over $3000 net proceeds were the Fiesta Filipina Dance Troupe and the DLSAA Toronto scholarship fund. DLSAA Toronto will sponsor a deserving child at the Jaime Hilario Integrated School; a La Salle supervised school in Bagac, Bataan. 80 golfers, composed of alumni, spouses, and friends of La Salle, teed up in the early afternoon under cloudy skies. Everybody had a good day at the course. Everyone feasted on a sumptuous steak dinner during the awards presentation.
