| Would you want to help plant 1 Million Trees in our country? Do you want to volunteer for LIFE? |
| LIFE stands for Lasallian Institute for the Environment, a major component of the Philippine Lasallian Family's mission to bring responsive and liberating education to the Filipino Youth and aimed at the preservation and protection of our environment. Among other initiatives, one of the exciting and key programs of LIFE is the One Million Trees Program in celebration of the 100 years of the Christian Brothers in the Philippines in year 2011. The Project is very relevant and timely as the Philippines loses more than 157,000 hectares in forest cover every year! LIFE calls on volunteers from the Lasallian alumni, student, faculty and administration community who share in this vision of a better and greener planet. LIFE is now mobilizing for full implementation. |
| There are many ways you can help to realize this dream considering your time contraints and other priorities: - Help in the Organizing Committees
- Help in the seedlings nursery program
- Participate in tree planting and maintenance activities
- Participate in publicity work
- Participate in fund raising work
- Particpate in training and education work
Tell LIFE how you would want to contribute to this cause. Send your contact details (mobile and landline numbers) via e-mail to Jorge Buenaventura or Ging Sison to be included in the Volunteer Directory and e-group. |
