De La Salle University was established by the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 1911 in Calle Nozaleda (presently General Luna St.) in Paco, Manila. It moved to its present location in Taft Avenue in the 1920s and was known then as De La Salle College. It is currently 95 years old.
