Job Title/Position: Institutional Client Relations Manager
Department: Institutional Sales Department
Work Location: Head Offi ce (Makati)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM — 6:00 PM (may include client meetings or events beyond offi ce hours)
I. Job Summary
The Client Relations Manager oversees the performance and development of Client Relations Offi cers assigned to institutional and corporate accounts. This role is responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives, strengthening partnerships with associations and broker networks, and ensuring overall success and the professional servicing of institutional clients. The Manager leads the team in meeting sales goals, ensuring account satisfaction, and upholding Anchor Land's premium positioning in the institutional investment space.
II. Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Institutional Sales in executing strategic initiatives for corporate and institutional accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, associations, and international brokers.
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to grow the Institutional Sales Channel.
- Coordinate with Client Relations Offi cers to ensure alignment with servicing standards and sales goals.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless client servicing.
- Monitor and analyze institutional sales data to support performance tracking and business planning.
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals, presentations, reports, and client engagement materials.
- Represent the company in client meetings, briefi ngs, and industry events in a professional capacity.
- Ensure all institutional sales activities comply with Anchor Land's policies and brand standards.
- Gather market intelligence and relay insights to the Head for strategy refi nement and opportunity development.
III. Job Specification
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related fi eld.
- An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualifi cation is a strong advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management, preferably in both institutional and international markets.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in an institutional sales environment.
- Experience in leading high-value deal negotiations and managing long sales cycles.
- Background in industries such as fi nancial services, education, healthcare, or real estate (or industry relevant to your organization) is preferred.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior sales professionals is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of sales strategy development, lead generation, and account management for institutional and international clients.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Skilled in contract negotiation, proposal writing, and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for international transactions is an advantage.
